Notice: Operating Procedures During COVID-19 Pandemic
Dear Valued Customers,
Stow massage is very excited to announce our RE-OPENING!!! This has been many weeks in the making and we are doing everything we can to provide safe and clean massage sessions, as per the State of Ohio Medical Board guidance.
Please note the following:
SCHEDULING –
Same day appointments will only be booked if the schedule permits, allowing for time in between for sufficient cleaning and reducing contact.
DAY OF APPOINTMENT –
Clients should not arrive more than 5 minutes prior to their scheduled appointment time. Otherwise, please remain in your vehicle until that time. Only the person scheduled may enter the office, others must remain in their vehicle.
All clients and therapists will have their temperature taken upon arrival, as well as a daily symptom assessment, per the CDC, which will include asking if you have experienced any of the following:
-
- COUGH
- SHORTNESS OF BREATH or DIFFICULT BREATHING
- FEVER
- SHAKING WITH CHILLS
- MUSCLE PAIN (unusual or sudden onset not activity related)
- HEADACHES
- SORE THROAT
- NEW LOSS OF TASTE OR SMELL
If you have experienced any of the above symptoms in the days leading up to your appointment, please call and cancel, as we are not permitted to work with you.
Note that certain massage techniques may be altered or omitted from our previous routines in order to maintain proper safety (ie no facial massage will be permitted, stretching techniques may be done differently, if at all, etc)
FACE MASKS –
All therapists are required to wear face masks during every session. Clients who wish to wear one may supply their own clean mask or use a disposable one provided in our office.
CLEANING & SANITIZING –
Rest assured we will be cleaning and sanitizing our office between each and every client. This is why we are staggering appointments and not accepting walk-ins. All linens will continue to be sanitized daily before reuse. Table warmers will not be available as they are not washable. Blankets may be provided upon request.
Therapists will wipe the doorknob prior to exiting the room at the end of each massage, for client safety. Hand sanitizer will be available throughout the office and only disposable towels in the restrooms. Air ionizers will be in each massage room to further reduce airborne particles.
We appreciate your patience and understanding as we navigate these new waters.
Kindest Regards,
The Staff of Stow Massage
